XP-30 Serial to USB

Until recently, I had a computer dedicated to work with my XP-30 - I wish to retire that computer.
Now that I want to use it on my main computer (Mac G4 tower) with my USB connection, I'm looking at serial to usb adapters. Is there anything to worry about when looking for such an animal and needing "MIDI support"?
