From your description, it sounds like you do not have any audio connections hooked up. The MIDI connections do not carry audio - just MIDI control information. You will still need to supply some kind of amplifier and speakers connected to the MU80 output jacks....

: Hi, i just bought the mu80 on ebay for our church, which has midi. The only problem, after connecting the in to out, then out to in on the organ, i get no sound. There is input because channels 2,3,4 bounce around, but no sound out of the speakers. I do get sound thru the headphones, and i also get sound theu the speaker outputs, but not the midi. I have read the manual, but it hasnt helped me at all. I was wondering maybe if theres a setting that needs to be changed or what. I also tried hooking it up to my yamaha electone HE-8W organ, but same problem. I have a feeling it may be a setting, but i cant find any info how to set it in the manual. Any help would be appreciated.
