You need a MIDI interface to connect your PC to the QS8, like the Midiman UNO or similar. I would also recommend a good MIDI sequencer for full control of the keyboard, like Cakewalk Home Studio. You'll find
these at the MIDI-Store, click on the banner on the left side of this page for more info.
Install the QS8 instrument definitions for Cakewalk,
and you will be able to record and play MIDI files,
and to control the sounds on your keyboard.
