MIDI-interfaces USB vs. Gameport

Since my soundcard doesn't provide any midi-connections, I must use an external interface.
I believe it's better to chose for an USB type (right?)
Like those ones :
Midisport Uno (Midiman)
UM-1S (Edirol )
Anyone experience with those types?
