What exactly is a midi interface?
I have a cable that plugs into my pc that splits in to the 2 (in & out) midi leads.
Things work well other than the odd problem with my sound card and cubase...at least I think that's where the problem lies.
Cannot use dedicated sound card driver with cubase and have to use standard ASIO driver but still odd problems with frequency, occasional losing of soundfonts & midi unable to reach recorder. Win XP, SB Audigy player, Kork M1, Yamaha MD4s recorder. Do I need a different type of interface or am I just too inexperienced to know how to use the sysyem?
