casiotone ct-640and pc-why doesn't they work?

i have an old casiotone ct-640 and it still working perfectly.But when i connect it to the pc nothing happened.I use madtracker to get in the midi. Do i need a driver to make it works? what is the right settings? and what is the right link with the midi cable? sorry for this stupid questions but i'm a totally newbye and i have no idea where i have to start
