Problems whe I record my playing from a Roland SK 88 pro keybord on Cakewalk pro 8.0

I use Cakewalk Pro 8.0 and a Roland SK 88 Pro keybord. The thing is that when I start recording on my lap top computer (an XP Celeron 1.2Ghz, 40 giga, 256mo...) what I play on the keybord come out from the speakers of my computer ONE second after I play. So I can't record what I play on time, following the tempo. There is some delay...
Is there any setting I should change before playing? Could you help me please?
