Hi,

I'm having the same problem here but I think I know what causes it. Via Audio Wave is not a real soundcard but a built-in chip sort of thing with limited possibilities.
Buying a decent soundcard (like Soundblaster live)might solve the problem.
I'll let you know if it does as soon as I have the cash ...
