sonar 2 xl/audigy ex 2 platinum

ok...i have been running cakewalk sonar 2 xl with no problems so far...i recently upgraded my soundcard to an audigy ex 2 platinum...now cakewalk nuendo and cubase all freeze when i try to use em...am i missing something...ive got a dell dimension 400 mhz...321mb ram...plenty of hd space...are there some configurations i need to use for the soundcard or what...im lost...cos now ive got the power to record 24bit but cant use any of the stuff to record it with...thanks in assistance for your help...please feel free to contact me via email...
