make sure the soundcard is not in pci slot 4.
diable the acpi in your mainboards bios(this may require a bios update must be correct bios for mainboard !!dont do it if you are unsure as this could render your m/b dead!!).
then reinstall o/s.
this fixed my auudigy with the same problem.
i had clipping with midi and wave.
now it sounds awsome
