Dang! i got the same prob with WIN ME on P4 1600 with
SB Audigy card and Evolution MK-249c midi controller, got the latest driver updates and zilcho midi in.
Was working just fine 'till i did a reinstall of the the OS, then the problems started.
My Take: Windows has a hidden bot somewhere in the system placed there by microsoft specifically to f*ck things up a different way each time.
Who amongst us has ever had a reinstallation without a new set of problems arising each time? Few, i'll bet.
I'm certain these no midi in problems are in the the OS,not the hardware or the drivers.
Those creeps over at microsoft have a LOT to answer for,they should be ashamed of themselves.
