: : I want to be able to write music on my synth and somehow save it on an audio CD. Is there a way to go from MIDI to WAV or How can I save to a WAV file from my Synth?

: There are some MIDI to Wave converter software programs but they are in a very primitive stage. Your best way would be to play the MIDI files and record them in Wave format at the same time using any suitable recording program such a Total Recorder or CDWave.

You should be able to record out to wav from within the sequencing software. I use XGWorks due to having a Yamaha S03 synth and it works fine doing it either way. I also incorporate my midi playing into Acid 3.0x/4.0x and add loops for ambience to my music and render as mp3 or wma or whatever is needed. What software are you using? Drop me an email offline if that's easier for you as I don't read here too often as of late (sorry!).
