Audio interface

Hi, I just bought my first synth and currently learning to use a sequencer prog. (Logic audio). MIDI connection seems to work fine (sends and receives data) but I don't know how to record those synthsounds to wav/mp3 format. Do I need audio interface for this, like M-Audio delta and maybe a mixer too? Hehe, yes I'm new to this :).
