Realtime recording problem

Hi, I have a problem when I am doing realtime recording in Sonar 2. Basically all my midi gets recorded in the first note of the first bar even though the metronome and the the line are both moving and it sounds like it's recording properly. When I finish recording there is no midi pattern, it's all bunched up. HELP!!! I use a soundblaster for midi input and a delta 44 for audio. I use windows XP. Maybe it's a soundcard problem???
