AWE64 Gold - no XP drivers available

And I cannot load sound fonts becauee the older drivers won't work. The AWECP32.EXE program to load sound fonts will not start (error loading SBAWE32.DRV). Even worse, the Waveguide WG/Synth drivers will not load - the install CD says "must have a Pentium 90 Mhz or better" - my PC is a 1.4 GHz Dell PIII. Has anyone figured out a workaround to this problem? I can get another sound card because all my PCI slots are full - plus, the AWE64 Gold wavetable and it's included sf2 sound fonts are great.
