OMS and Midisport 1x1

I have a USB Midisport 1x1 and OMS 2.3.8.
When OMS searched for drivers/devices it registered only a midi in port but not the out port - on my midisport, the "in" port light is flickering and works great but the out port light is - well - out
How do I play midi out ..... any suggestions ?
