If you select midi UART as the port then no sound will happen because this means that you are sending midi out of the joystick port. Synth A and B will work as they are midi out for speaker port. So if you have 2 midi tracks in cakewalk and you select the midi UART as the port for one track and Midi Synth A as the port for the second track. The second trak will come through your speakers and the first track will be sent to your joystick port.
