I have windows 98 and had the same problem, I did what Jan said and suddenly windows found the Roland MPU-401 midi out device. Now I was finally ready after 3 years to use it, i started up Reason and have all the settings just the way they should be, but the damn thing just wont detect any midi notes! I tried to do it with Reaktor but still no success.... Im BeGiNnInG To ShOw SiGnS Of ExTrEmE RaGe!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
