It's one of two possible causes :
1. Your MIDI input comes from the keyboard, but your MIDI out is set to the sound card in your computer,
and plays the sounds from there. In this case switch
the MIDI OUT to external synth in your sequencer program.
2. Your keyboard doesn't transmit program (patch) numbers, so you'll have to assign the proper numbers
in your sequencing program.
: When I play my keyboard and record, the sound playback is different than what the keyboard played. For example, i'll set up a violin sound on my keyboard and the computer will record a piano sound. Anybody know what's up with that?
