Hi all,

I have a copy of Cubasis which I haven't used that much since I bought it a few years ago, but worked fine with my Alesis QS6. I just bought a Yamaha dd-55 (drum), but I can't get it to work well. Manly when I turn the wheel to change drum kits, Cubase just sucks up all the juce of the machine, and the only option (might take 10 mins.) is to "force-close" it.

It's connected through the game port of my soundblaster live audio card. I have a pIII/800, 512M ram, Win2000. Cubasis' version is 3.7 R2 (the last update, I believe).

I also tried a midi input viewer and this thing freezes too in what it seems to be an infinite loop of program changes.

Would that ring a bell to any of you? Does anyone have the dd-55?

Thanks,
Charles.
