Yeah just connect a midi cable to the midi out from your xp30 into midi in A or in 1 on the MCP & a midi in on the xp30 should go into the midi out on the MPC. I use modules with my MPC2KXL the mophatt & P2K so it might differ a little but try it always. You'll get it. Take care bro & blessings.
