Suddenly stopped working in IE but ok in Netscape

I've put downloaded MIDI files on some of my websites (eg. www.lifewithautism.com) and until a couple of weeks ago they worked fine. I'm pretty sure they still work fine - for everyone but me! It suddenly stopped working for me in IE (I get no sound and a tiny, square belly button instead of the control panel), but works ok in Netscape (no control panel at all). I'm thinking it has something to do with my playing device, but I can play CD's and hear MIDI files on the site I downloaded from just fine.
