Export or render them in your midi sequencer software as a wav file then load them into a sound editor (cool edit, sound forge, etc...) then cut/paste the piece you want when you have selected the length you want and paste into a new file and save. Viola! Done! Pretty simple stuff if you are familiar with sound editor programs. Cool Edit is fairly easy to use.
