  • selected midi port won't work

Cakewalk won't let me choose the MPU-401 as the selected midi port in the midi devices menu. After moving it to the top Cakewalk keeps on selecting the Microsoft wavetable with the poor quality. I hate this because I cannot use my Roland Sc-880 module this way. All my audio settings in Windows XP are correct. Does anyone have a solution for this nasty problem?
