Control BOSS DR-770 with SR-16 via MIDI channel

Hi,

I have the Alesis SR-16 for 7 years, and love the way I can controle it with the foot switches.

Recently I bought a BOSS DR-770, and don't understand the developer, what did he thought whan he planed the foot switches, but it is useless in live gigs.

I would like to control the DR-770 via the SR-16 foot control, with the MIDI connection.

Is it posible?
