QS8 problem w/ CH SOLO mode and Cakewalk

I am trying to listen to a couple of channels play while I record a third track (in mix mode). But once Cakewalk communicates with my board, all of the sudden I get piano on every channel along with the selected channel. I tried switching the channel the piano was assigned to, as well as the piano voice. Same problem. What the hell is going on?
