Korg to MPU-401

I have hooked up my Korg iX300 to the game port of my PC. My MIDI Driver is MPU-401.
I can play MIDI on my keyboard from Cakewalk but I can't record MIDI using CakeWalk. The recorded info is innaccurate which suggests that some signal is comming.
Your suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
