MIDI and audio require different recording methods.
You need a sequencer program that can record both MIDI and audio (most of them can),
then you record your MIDI thru a MIDI interface, and your audio thru an
audio interface. MIDI will not transmit sounds, so you need either a good sound card or better yet
a digital audio card, and some cables from your synth audio out to the card audio in.
