Hi, i need putting straight on a basic concept in computer recording.
I use a pc with cubase/emu soundcard. I have lots of 'outboard' gear like pedal fx. I would like to send, eg, the drum track playing on cubase - out through the pedals - and back into cubase recorded on a seperate track.
When ive tried to do this, the signal becomes a feedback loop. Horrible screech.
So is there a way to send out then in with one computer? do i need another computer or what? surely using outboard processing gear can't be that demanding?
Any help is much appreciated! |

I have a philips sw3440/37 surround sounds system. The only audio input it has is a vga connector. I dont have anything that outputs audio with a vga cable. Does anybody know how to make an adapter so i could just plug it into a standard 3.5mm audio jack. _________________ web development services |

when sending audio out of the pc and back, you need to experiment with the "send" and "return" levels on the mixer of cubase if it is available. or minimize the return levels until you get a suitable signal. |
